Software

Software plays an important part in the design and use of lasers, especially in the associated optics and the application of laser in the production of parts within industry.

Firstly software associatied with CADCAM. Laser part production often requires a special application of normal CADCAM applications. The control of laser parameters and indeed the laser process itself requires additional control features within the software. In addition, due to the type of products manufactured, nesting and raster/vector conversion are essential to the rapid response required by Customers and the efficient use of high cost materials.

Secondly, there are many Computer Aided Engineering solutions available for a wide range of laser processing applications.
